Nonsense And Other Matters is shaped by its music and a collaborative puzzling process. It proposes dancing by organizing a shared dance model called classical ballet. It explores its versatility through three movements: a quartet, a series of duos, trios, quartets, and quintets framed by corps de ballet-like formations, and large-scale group dancing. The dancers emphasize musicality to express something fundamental to dancing, though they do not immediately mean anything. They are dancing a dance.”
