In four evolving movements, ‘as close to something than else’ shifts our perception of what bodies can be. First, precision reigns: an organized choreography shaped in the language of ballet, where every body finds its place. Then, resistance emerges: dancers lean into one another, their movements born from the weight and presence of others. We rupture in calm: a pendulum of time, as voices speak imagined worlds. And at last, we face what remains—perhaps love, perhaps a space to begin again. Each part moves us closer to something—than else.
